For those of you my readers who did not have the liberty to witness what happened in Owerri, Imo State last week, I bring to you the full cover of what I call ” the carnival of cakes”. According to one of my friends, It rained heavily in Owerri…the rain was not of water …but of Cakes!.Â
For me, this is a show of love to the people’s governor, a show of gratitude to a man that has put in so much for his people….I know my thoughts are subject to contest but I am a cake journalist and I always see cakes as a form of appreciation and love….

His excellency Owele Rochas Okorocha is the executive governor of Imo State and he recently celebrated his 55th birthday in Owerri, the Imo State capital. Like I said It was a carnival of cakes. It first started with the 27 local governments of the state bring in 27 huge identical cake ( probably made by the same baker) and after that, the rain started!
Behold the cakes that followed thereafter…
