247 Naija Cake Affairs: Nigeria’s foremost Cake Blog

Good evening my wonderful bakers and cake lovers. I hope everyone is doing pretty well out there. Its a cool evening here in the city of Lagos and even though there seems to be a bit of a dry weather, we always experience heat flashes at night

We apologize for the disappearance of this programme from our blog for a long time due majorly to our focus on developing other contents. We promise to bring it fully back for your entertainment, education and encouragement.

In this new year opening  segment of the Naija Bakers' Diary Series, I found a sensation in the Naija baking industry. I love it when a baker hits the ground running and this baker did just that. Since her intro in the industry, she has made so much impact and has been seen by most cake lovers as a talent to showcase....

Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you Modupe Fagbohungbe , Sugar artist and CEO of Salt Lagos, a culinary outfit in Lagos,south-west Nigeria. She has a lot to tell us in this interview section so I suggest you sit down, relax and read her lips here......

This is a rap-up for the month. I made my collections of these awesome designs to showcase as a goodbye show to January. Our bakers are always on point and I will always give it to them.

Concepts are coming up and originality is flooding the industry. We all are encouraged to do more in promoting our local contents. These cakes are visible statements that show the talent of the Naija baker.

Let's see them here...

The occasion starts with the planning...the couple contracts an event manager and the planning starts...IV cards, venue, decorations, food and drinks..... the CAKE! This aspect is the coco of the matter. the first principal assignment of the couple after the parents give their consent is the cutting  of the cake. Here the couple join hands together for the first time in public to perform a function as one indivisible entity.....such a glorious act!

Today, caught on camera are the very looks of some of Naija couples during their cake cutting act. For me I think this is the moment in the entire plan.....and also the very beginning of life together as one indivisible entity...the couple!
